The Aberdeen Public Schools Foundation Golden Apple Award winners were announced on Jan. 20 at the school district’s all-staff in-service event: Al Dussault, O.M. We welcomed our newest Golden Eagles at Kindergarten Registration Day, a fun, free event for families with incoming kindergarteners! Thank you to everyone who attended!
Families who attended Kindergarten Registration Day received a free learning kit to help set their child up for success at school! Watch the video and learn more here!

On Thursday, Jan. 30, Aberdeen Public School District parents attended an informational meeting about the impact of school vouchers on public education, held in the CHS Theater.
Aberdeen Central High School students had a voice in the South Dakota political process at a student legislative meeting held Friday, Jan. 31, in the CHS Arena. The Aberdeen Public School District Indian Education Department 2025 Winter Gathering was held on Saturday, Jan. 11! The event, which included a program, meal, and frybread contest, took place at Aberdeen Central High School.
