On Oct. 30, eighth-grade students from Holgate Middle School and Simmons Middle School attended Camp Med! Camp Med, held at Northern State University, is a hands-on event where students could learn about various health career opportunities.
Tuesday, Oct. 29, was the distribution night for the Aberdeen Public School District Indian Education Department and Native American Student Association winter coat drive! The event took place at Holgate Middle School starting at 5:30 p.m.

Aberdeen Central students got an up-close look at the importance of wearing a seat belt at a safe driving event that took place on Oct. 22 at CHS. The event, held in honor of National Teen Driver Safety Week, included a mock crash and the S.D. Highway Patrol Rollover Simulator Trailer. Learn more about teen driver safety here.

Oct. 28-Nov. 1 was Red Ribbon Week 2024! Our elementary schools celebrated the week with numerous fun festivities, including wellness walks and assemblies. Each school also held dress-up days every day of the week! Find more photos from the week here.
