The library will no longer be open to students before school (7:30–8:00am). This space is now reserved exclusively for morning ICU.
Students arriving between 7:30am and 7:55am should report to the gym bleachers.
Students who are eat breakfast may sit in the cafeteria. |

Gymnasts will compete at CHS starting at 5:00pm

Wrestlers will be dismissed from class at ? and will load the bus at ?.

Get ready for a cozy, magical evening filled with holiday cheer as we gather to watch The Muppet Christmas Carol!
☕ Hot cocoa will be provided, and families are welcome to bring their own peanut-free snacks.
🎟️ Students can earn a Youth Power point just for attending!
🧺 Feel free to bring a blanket or chair, or enjoy seating in the bleachers.
👨👩👧 Students must be accompanied by an adult or a high school sibling to attend.
🚪 Doors open at 6:15pm
🎬 Movie starts promptly at 6:30pm

In the medical world, ICU stands for Intensive Care Unit. A special part of a hospital where doctors and nurses give extra care and attention to patients who need help getting healthy again. No one is left alone or ignored there, every person gets the help they need until they’re back on their feet. We are going to use the same idea, but for learning instead of health.
When a student has missing or incomplete work, it’s like that assignment is “sick.” It’s not finished, not showing what you’ve learned yet, and it needs some extra care. That’s where ICU comes in.

Instead of giving a zero and moving on, your teachers make sure you get the time, support, and reminders you need to complete your work and show what you know.
Being “on the ICU list” isn’t punishment, it’s a second chance and a safety net. You’ll get help, reminders, and encouragement until that assignment is “healthy” (done well and turned in).
Starting this week, if you have missing assignments, you will go on the ICU list. If you are on the ICU list, any or all of the following things can happen.

- you may be told to go to morning ICU from 7:30am-8:20am
- you may have lunch ICU
- you may have after school ICU on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- you may be asked during free time in classes to work on ICU assignments
- you will miss out on assemblies and other fun activities during the school day
- If you are in an activity, you will miss practice for that activity. This could result in you not participating in the next competition if you miss practice on a regular basis

We’re doing this because we care about your success. ICU gives you extra time and support to get your assignments done correctly, because learning matters and every assignment is a chance to grow. Just like doctors in a hospital ICU don’t give up on their patients, your teachers won’t give up on you or your learning. |

This month’s theme is Popular Christmas Movies and we’re on a mission to crown the Ultimate Holiday Favorite! Each day in homeroom you'll vote between two beloved Christmas classics in a head-to-head battle. The winning Christmas movie will be played during lunches for the entire school to enjoy, sending us off to Christmas break in style!! |

The Mission:
Raise money to purchase holiday gifts for 12 local children through the Salvation Army Angel Tree program.
How It Works:
Each homeroom will have its own Sabotage jar:
➕ Add COINS to your own jar to earn positive points
➖ Add DOLLAR BILLS to other homerooms’ jars to give them negative points (that's the sabotage part!)
Winning & Losing:
The losing homeroom (the one with the most negative points) will have to record a TikTok dance as a group and it’ll be shared during homeroom for all to enjoy!
The winning homeroom (highest positive point total) will earn extra gym time!
